We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of our office. This is a structured, routine-based role where tasks and schedules are clearly defined and provided in advance. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked work environment. No prior office experience is required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to follow direction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Open and prepare the office each morning according to a provided daily checklist.
- Brew and set up coffee service for staff and executives.
- Prepare and coordinate lunches for staff and executives as directed.
- Monitor and restock office and kitchen inventory on a regular schedule.
- Submit purchasing requests and place orders for supplies when inventory is low.
- Maintain organization of common areas, storage spaces, and supply rooms.
- Receive and sort deliveries, mail, and packages.
- Perform light cleaning and tidying of shared office spaces throughout the shift.
- Complete all daily tasks in accordance with provided schedules and instructions.
- Ad hoc administrative support.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read, follow written and verbal instructions reliably.
- Reliable transportation.
- Punctual, dependable, and takes initiative to complete tasks without prompting.
- Basic comfort with email or messaging apps for communication purposes.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (restocking inventory and receiving deliveries).
- Friendly and professional demeanor, particularly around executive staff.
- Prior experience is a plus but not expected - full training will be provided.
Work Location & Schedule:
- This role is in our Rockville, Maryland location on a typical schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 12:30PM.
